Mind
Minimize Negativity
Our mind considers inconvenient situations in daily life as fight or flight events. We experience these defence reactions as negative emotions (e.g. anger, guilt or anxiety). A real fight never happens, so the negative energy accumulates in our nervous system and our muscles. We can learn to acknowledge these reactions as useless (and unhealthy) and stop them by intention alone.
Presence
Humans can withdraw attention from the current moment to think through events in the past and possible events in the future. That’s a useful human ability, but only when we don’t overuse it. We can learn to keep our thinking mind under control and avoid the negative side effects of continuous mental chatter and daydreaming.
Positive Creativity
By far the most of our brain activity is unconscious, so it’s a good idea to have a clear & fluent communication between conscious and unconscious thinking. If this is not the case all our good intentions can be interfered with (or even reversed) by unconscious thinking patterns.
